creative artists institute Creative Artists Institute (CAI) provides professional and comprehensive level training in vocal technique, song interpretation, acting, audition technique, dance and movement, for a select group of emerging young artists. The focus of CAI is the development of the triple threat performer. Once accepted, these individuals are afforded the opportunity to study alongside professional performers and directors who will encourage their development while helping to sharpen their craft for the real world. CAI focuses on a select group of participants accepted by audition or referral only and invitations are offered to a select group of applicants. schedule
Students meet Monday through Saturday from 9am to 5pm. Rehearsals are held at Arlington United Methodist Church on Glebe Road in Arlington, VA. Daily classes will be held in movement and dance, vocal technique, and acting. Master Classes with notable Broadway and DC professionals will be scheduled regularly based on availability. Each student is given one-on-one time to prepare for the Final Showcase which will be held at The Atlas Performing Arts Center. tuition
Creative Artists tuition cost is $795. To insure that the program is accessible to all performers, a limited number of scholarships are available. scholarships
